| Brief Introduction |
Published by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance, sponsored by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and edited by Tom Brown and Cecil Sze, dance journal/hk is the only dance periodical in Hong Kong. First published in 1999, dance journal/hk is now published bi-monthly, with articles, including dance reviews, news, interviews, and dance related discussions, geared for professional and general readership. With objectives of providing a regular and long-term documentation of Hong Kong Dance, enhancing public visibility of dance in Hong Kong, and improving dance appreciation among general public in Hong Kong, the Journal is bilingual with some articles in English, some in Chinese and some in both languages. There are a total of 12 issues of dance journal/hk published in 2009 (Vol. 11, no.1-6) and 2010 (Vol. 12, no.1-6). |
