| Brief Introduction |
Loosely adapted from the Chinese creation myth and the concept of Dao, Dao．Extraordinaire, the grand finale of City Contemporary Dance Company's (CCDC) 30th anniversary celebration, is an epic dance production choreographed by Artistic Director Willy Tsao and the two most sought-after dance-makers in town, Helen Lai and Xing Liang, together with five new wave choreographers from CCDC.
A second collaboration with renowned composer Chan Hing-yan after his award-winning Warrior Lanling, CCDC creates an imaginary tour of Chinese wisdom that explores the tripartite theme of Heaven, Earth and Mankind. Accompanied by an east-meets-west chamber ensemble and performed by dancers from CCDC and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, this legendary production is not to be missed! |
