Synopsis |
“X Marks the spot. The place we grew up, left, and chose to return to.” Said Christina Jensen, the director of this performance. Christina has recruited the talents of childhood friends to collaborate with in an effort to produce something that is truly Hong Kong, eclectic, international and possibly confusing. It is always interesting to use a place as a starting point, it\'s unique atmosphere has endless potential for making movement. The contrast of slow moments of intimacy with fast explosive movement mimicking the city, and minimal constrained movement taken from all those awkward elevator moments. All the technical adjustments are seen as part of the overall concept to unmask the theatre as a metaphor in unmasking the theme. They share with the audience the potential of dance and how movement need not be limited by style or genre. |
