Synopsis |
Deep in the bosom of the gentle night,
Is where I search for the light,
Pick up my pen and start to write,
I struggle a fight,
Dark forces in the clear moonlight without fear,
Insomnia.
Insomnia is a piece of dance-movement theatre devised by a group of young dancers and the Founder/Artistic Director of Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, Lindsey McAlister. Over a 6 week period the dancers explored ideas around sleeplessness and dreams working in the mediums of movement, creative writing and visual images. The performance is collage of experiences drawn from these workshops and act as snap shots that capture the theme. |
