| Synopsis |
The CREATURES is inspired by the renowned 1929 Serge Lifar work. After the success of his first symphony with Viennese audience, Beethoven composed the music for a ballet: the creatures of Prometheus. “There were many nights, many mornings, then one day, the first man was born a dancer. Alone, he will spin, with his arms, extended towards no one else. Then he was given the first women as a partner.” Choreographer, Thierry Malandain gave priority for the dancing body, to its frailness, its strength and its sensuality. |
