Synopsis |
An urban dance company from France, combining street dance with theatre dance techniques, capoeira and African dance. Aduna, by choreographer Ibrahima Sissoko, deals with the discovery of an unknown land by 7 adventurers. Aduna, a word from Wolof African language, is a concept gathering the notion of world and destiny. Music by Sissoko plays an essential part in the works. It accentuates and supports the extremely physical and expressive movement of the dancers. |
