About Love plunges the viewer into turbulent and theatrical renditions of human passion. Light as a feather, violent as desire and as obsessive as the passionate declarations that run through it, About Love is a poetic journey incorporating fragments of this universal constant characterized by its wonder and manifest in an Argentinean Tango or a Bach oratorio. Skin deep body movements, pulsating and theatrical dance, incandescent eroticism. There is thousands and one ways to describe love, Joëlle Bouvier understands these truths quite well as evidenced by her vibrant and sesuel work, which provides a panorama on the amourous discourse of male-female relations. |
