| Synopsis |
The line-up of over 15 acts ranged from hip-hop to boogaioo, stopping by funk, locking, breaking, house, and a whole host of styles involving the word jazz (jazz funk, street jazz, jazz hands, etc.) While it was undeniably ‘street’ in nature, the production felt more like an extravagant 1950s musical, with giant, elaborate stage sets, and over-the-top costumes. |
