| Synopsis |
Four years in a row since 2005, Infinity Dance Studio (IDS) has organized annual performances in the year end, marking a momentum for the company.
Most dance pieces, categorized in Hip Hop (Freestyle, Breaking, Popping) and Jazz (Jazz Funk, Pop Jazz, Lyrical Jazz), were performed by students from IDS, backed up with dedicated and creative choreography by dance tutors.
The showcase also featured guest performers in a variety of dance styles from all over the world – award-winning Latin dancers, street dancers from Boogiezone of the U.S., to name a few, were some of the most sought-after staging in previous annual performances.
Reaching for refinement, the shows were enriched with more prolific choreography, well-trained performing students and sophisticated stage effects.
The performances, however, went beyond sole entertainment. The persistent yearly showcase has not only encouraged dance as a local cultural motif, but also cultivated performers’ self-worth and respect for other forms of performing arts. |
