Synopsis The story begins with children playing by the river which becomes active and lets the water spirits dance. Little ducks swimming find a mother duck looking after six eggs which hatch out to show five little ducks and one different bird. After a few months the villagers are still feeding the ducks but do not feed the one they call “Ugly Duckling”. One villager takes pity on the “Ugly Duckling” and takes her home. The Ugly Duckling gets bore and so decides to wander off on her own, she gets sleepy and so finds a place to sleep. She dreams that it snows, then the stars come out, in the morning flowers, birds, frogs and swans appear. On awaking she sees many swans swimming on the water and they become her friends and tell her she is a beautiful swan. So, she look in the shadow from the water, and she can’t see the “Ugly Duckling” again, because she become a beautiful white swan now. Little swan forget all the sad memory, get back home and have a beautiful life.
