Synopsis Highlighting the fleeting nature of dance, Transience featured works by the School of Dance Faculty, and introduced the work of Contemporary Dance Artist-in-Residence Raewyn Hill to Hong Kong audiences. Hill’s work - the poignant ‘Til Death Do Us Part (至死不渝) was complemented by John Utans’ in a manner of speaking (言外之意 - a work which included dancers from across the three major streams - Ballet, Chinese Dance and Contemporary Dance - and which was toured to the United Kingdom), Cho Yi’s Neither: nor (不即不離), and Graeme Collins’ Crystal (水晶). The latter featured talented HKAPA School of Music student Crystal Lam performing an excerpt from Spanish composer Enrique Granados’ opera Goyescas. The final work of the production was also an excerpt – this time from Danish choreographer August Bournonville’s lively Napoli (《拿坡里》選段1842).
