Synopsis |
Taking its title from local choreographer Mui Cheuk-yin’s work Impulse, this programme also included five works created by School of Dance faculty: Dean Maggi Sietsma and Head of Ballet, Graeme Collins (K301 to Mozart), Chinese Dance staff Yu Pik-yim (Once in a Secret Night 雨夜), Pei Chang-Ching (Wind Spring Sky 風.泉.天), Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Dance John Utans (Faint Parallel Lines 模糊的平行線), and Musical Theatre Dance Artist-in-Residence Keith Hawley (Hit the Boards跳躍舞台. The programme thus showed the range of major performance studies of the School – Ballet, Chinese Dance, Contemporary Dance and Musical Theatre Dance. |
