| Synopsis |
Shandong Folk Dance Grand Show of Drumming and Rice-Sprout Song expresses such primitive desires like praying for happiness or rain through using props, and highlights the link between props and the body. This piece attributes to folk dance and ethnic dance a wider and modern dimension. It manifests the inheritance of tradition in different geographical location and a different cultural context. Explores the multi-faceted and diverse nature of dance ideology under the folk dance constraints, and seeks a modern representation of primitive essence. The students from the HKAPA (Chinese Dance) contributed to make the show an inspirit work. |
