Epic dance drama Red Poppies takes this unique story to the stage, enriching it with invigorating dance, mysterious music, and sumptuous costume in the Tibetan style.
The premiere of this dance drama won the Dancer Award and Costume Designer Award of the “Hong Kong Dance Awards 2007”. The Principal Dancer, Liu Yinghong was praised for his excellent interpretation and strength in dance. The Costume Designer, Cui Pinghua was awarded for his creative design of costumes that captured traditional Tibetan ethnic characteristics as well as adding colour and style to the stage performance. |
