Synopsis |
Inspired by the masterpieces of Polish film director Krzysztof Kieslowski, Resident Choreographer Helen Lai shares her passion for the late Kieslowski\'s vision in her work No End by exploring the themes and motifs in his films, namely the uncertainties of life, the mystery of death, the accidental encounters, the never-ending waiting and searching. Set to the Requiem written by his long-time collaborating composer Zbigniew Preisner to commemorate the legendary director, No End is a poetic dialogue between a choreographer and a filmmaker. |
