Synopsis |
Yuri Ng’s murder mystery production employing scenes from Bertolt Brecht’s The Seven Deadly Sins as well as songs by Kurt Weill. Local canto-pop rising star Chu Pak-him teams up with CCDC dancers to tell the stories of one thousand and one “no-bodies” who sell their bodies for honour: a stunt serial-killer; a love collector; a Marilyn Monroe… The medieval taboos: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride, are re-packaged into something that is cheap and yet sensational. |
