Synopsis |
365 Ways of Doing and Undoing Orientalism is a trademark production of CCDC choreographed by celebrated choreographer Willy Tsao and modern dance stars Xing Liang and Sang Jijia. As a highly popular repertoire, it has been widely toured to different places, including Brisbane, Houston, Los Angeles and New York since its premiere in 2002. Through an exotic display of “oriental” elements from Peking Opera to the representation of Zen, 365 casts doubts on the West’s fascination with the Orient. This signature repertoire of CCDC was invited to perform at the Oriente Occidente Festival at Rovereto, Italy |
