Synopsis |
Two of Hong Kong’s most accomplished choreographers, Helen Lai and Jacky Yu, set their creations in a double bill to two apparent opposites: invincibility and vulnerability. Helen Lai‘s Movements and Shadows is inspired by the poems of contemporary Chinese poet Beidao. In the same programme, Jacky Yu plunges the dancers into a pure kinesthetic approach to precision and technicality in Lights Up until the body takes over the mind to think and feel. |
