| Synopsis |
Over 70 youth dancers have been working with 3 professional choreographers through our artists-in-residence series to create 3 site-specific dance pieces for designated sites in Sau Mau Ping, Tuen Mun and Tseung Kwan O. The dances are choreographed using the contemporary dance form, drawing on inspiration from the site to create their movement vocabularies. Along with highlighting the architectural and historical backgrounds of the dance sites, the dance pieces also reflected the artworks on site. Dance workshops conducted by the choreographers were held at the locations for the public. |
