Synopsis |
Kizomba is a dance and music genre that originated from Angola in the southern part of Africa. It has gone on to become a popular form of dance in Portuguese-speaking communities in Africa and around the world. Kizomba is a feisty combination of tango, zouk, samba and salsa, though the associated music is relatively slow. The elegant dance involves the pairs of dancers moving in close coordination in a series of sensual twists and turns. Here, workshop participants will start from the basics and learn to enjoy the charms of Kizomba in a relaxed atmosphere. |
