| Synopsis |
With toddling steps of an unskilled dancer, we buffet the empty shell of our crazed bodies – wilful? Or just out of control? Wasting away, eroding, restless, uneasy…… directionless directions, protection slipped away, meaning all gone, the motivation to live is lost…… Is ‘loss’ the best lesson to treasure what you once ‘owned’? This 2010 production by DanceArt is another exploration into the disoriented and self-denying world of youths, after the company’s psychedelic, intoxicating Smoke Factory of 2005. The bodies moving to sensations and passions challenge the audience’s high-strung nerves, to tell those who really love and care about them, “Please take a quiet moment and let yourself feel every pulse of life that forms the link between you and me, at this hour, at this very moment!” |
