From September 2017 to February 2018, WE Dance returns to the Nursery Park!
Taking place every second Sunday of the month at Freespace Happening, WE Dance is an exciting participatory dance programme that invites you to join fun dance activities in a natural outdoor environment – relaxing both your body and your mind!
This season, we have a wide range of exciting dance forms for you to enjoy. In September we open with workshops on Israeli folk dance, where tutors from the Hong Kong Dance Federation help you learn fun, simple steps to lively, middle-eastern rhythms, and in October, students from the School of Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts share easy-to-learn ballet barre and mime exercises.
In November, learn how to communicate with strangers through dance at Otrotango Dance Company’s very special Argentine tango workshop, in December, join the fun, family Latin workshops hosted by the tutors and young dancers of K&B Dance Company, and in January, take part in a WE Dance journey through the park.
The season comes to a spectacular close in February 2018 with a five-hour non-stop WE Dance Finale that everyone is invited to be part of!
