| Synopsis |
Mimicking its Secret Walls sibling in style and pace, Black Book Battles is held on a smaller, more intimate scale. Artists of all styles & levels of experience are invited to gather & collaborate whilst trading blows via the medium of illustration on shared pieces of A4 paper in black books.
The battles take place on A4 sheets of paper/in a Black Book attendees have ten minutes to draw on one side of the pad before handing it off to another participant who fills the remaining half. All illustrations are produced under pressure of the clock. Once a round is over the crowd will shout for the piece they think is the best. Winner will stay on to compete against the next attendee. |
