Synopsis |
Hong Kong Dance Company premiered Snow Fox in 2008 as the second production of the Jin Yong Dance Drama Trilogy. Snow Fox transformed a classic martial arts novel into a romantic dance drama. The love and hate between characters and their moral conflicts in the original novel were vividly depicted in the choreography. The grand glacier stage design showcased modern visual aesthetics. The elegantly designed costumes and contemporary Chinese music added to the splendor of this outstanding performance. In response to fervent demands from the audiences, Snow Fox was re-run featuring guest artist Faye Leung, formerly principal dancer of the Hong Kong Ballet. |
