Freespace Fest is a two-day outdoor arts and cultural festival featuring a diverse line-up of music, dance, outdoor performances and collaborative programmes. It is an attempt to test the boundaries of public space where participants can shout, sing, dance and play at their will.Co-curated by cross-disciplinary artists Virginia Hyam, Kung Chi Shing, Daniel Yeung and MaD, Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture, Freespace Fest does not merely showcase a blend of the arts and cultural elements that have shaped Hong Kong, but is also an experiment on how we can use the future West Kowloon Cultural District site for festivals.Come and participate, whether this be on-stage or off-stage, front or back of house, and be immersed in the arts.Dance Groups: Rhythm Attack, Beyond 852, Performcrew, Les Danseurs Dance Troupe, Chiliboyz, E-side Dance Company |
