Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation is thrilled to co-present Clockenflap x HKYAF2014, a programme of exciting original performances and workshops.
Beatastic, created by DANCE Kho and featuring YAF dancers, celebrates the raw and infective energy of festivals. In a growing crescendo of movement and music, the dancers perform a choreography of lifts, turns and jumps, using their bodies as instruments to create rhythms that will leave you breathless and wanting more. Negotiating Pulse is an immersive dance and percussive performance with three dancers, three drummers and three drum sets. Swinging between the quiet and the ecstatic, professional artists Christine He, Christina Jensen, Mayson Tong, Sascia Pellegrini and Anna Fan create powerful rhythms that are seen, heard and felt.
Free workshops on beat, rhythm and movement were held after the performances. |
