Synopsis |
Legend has it that the origin of the ribbon dance comes from a man who saved a Han Dynasty emperor from an assassination attempt by blocking the sword with the silk of his sleeve.
Led by Anca Chung, a former YAF-ie and, co-founder and former artistic director of University of Pennsylvania’s Pan-Asian Dance Troupe, this workshop introduces using ribbon to fuse dances moves from the East with the West. |
