Synopsis |
Three fresh choreographers – CCDC dancers Peggy Lam and Shirley Lok, together with Vietnamese dancer Anh Ngoc Nguyen, demonstrate their choreographic best in a series of new works in In‐between, explore the nature of dance by the movement and stillness of dancers. Sharing delicate relationships between paintings and us, inspired by art works and portraits from street artists. Peggy becomes a painter in Picture Triangle, creating a masterpiece with dance, presenting heartfelt dance‐paintings to leave an impression. Suppression, control and exhaustion intertwined by a series of turning gears: desperations trapped in a city of hopelessness in Besieged choreographed by Shirley Lok. This work is set to a music masterpiece of all time, Four Seasons, recomposed by Max Richter. Harmonising bodies, movements, music, light, visual, prop, fragrance into an intense sensation, Sense choreographed by Anh Ngoc Nguyen promises a unique experience for the audience. |
