Synopsis |
Embrace the festive season with The Nutcracker by choreographer Terence Kohler, dramaturge Clair Sauran and set and costume designer Jordi Roig. This glittering production, which premiered in 2012, follows Clara and Fritz who learn to recognise the value of loyalty, friendship and determination as they embark on an adventure of magical proportions to rescue the Nutcracker and the Ballerina from the clutches of the evil Rat King. Through their charming naivety and creative imagination, the children restore normality to a surreal world. Set to Tchaikovsky’s magical score with live accompaniment by Hong Kong Sinfonietta, this exciting Christmas-time adventure is a perfect ballet for children to enjoy with their families. |
