Synopsis |
Delve into the theme of lust and desire, Daniel Yeung, home-grown veteran choreographer creates an experimental performance fusing different dance forms – contemporary, tap, aerial, pole and parkour, alongside music, video and multimedia technology, presenting the West Kowloon district as a multifaceted symbol of lust. Set in the rich and culturally diverse local surrounding of Yau Ma Tei, Journey to the West is a series of “dance happenings” blending traditional Chinese culture with Western high art that promise to stimulate the senses of audiences. |
