Synopsis |
In the musical theatre business, different types of performers make up a cast. There are singers, dancers, actors and those who are capable of doing more than one of these professional disciplines. These performers are known as a “triple threat” - someone who can sing, dance and act! After 16 weeks of training, the young performers were introduced to materials from both classical and modern forms of musical theatre. They also developed an understanding of vocal techniques, character building and various styles of dance. During this performance, they presented well-known scenes from musicals like “Godspell”, “Pippin”, “The Lion King”, “Spelling Bee”, “Legally Blonde”, “Hairspray”, “Secret Garden” and “Just So”. |
