Synopsis |
YAF believes that every child has unique potential, talents, and interests. This one-day workshop allows children aged from 8 to 12 to explore the joy of dancing or simply moving one’s body. Jazz Funk is a popular style of dance, which is based on the collaboration between movements of different parts of body and cadenced music. It can help children to enhance their muscular strength, flexibility, and mind-body coordination. With the use of strong, rhythmic music, a sense of musicality can easily be developed in the child. Canaan Kwok, a Hong Kong-based performer, choreographer, and dance teacher, leads the workshop and sharing with the children her enthusiasm for dance. |
