| Synopsis |
Created by Christina Jensen and Martin Vognsen, “City of Silent Satellites” was born out of a curiosity of the existence of empty buildings in Hong Kong, one of the densest and priciest urban areas in the world.
“We saw a city striving toward even higher density, yet we noticed pockets of air. Not the open spaces, parks and squares designed with a specific purpose but spaces inaccessible to the public, maybe forgotten.” During a 9-month research with a group of guest artists, Christina and Martin spotted sites, from private to publicly owned and inquired about the possibility to gain access. |
