| Synopsis |
The Hong Kong Ballet’s appearance at the 4th International Ballet Festival in June 2010 was so well-received that the Company was invited back to Colombia by the Instituto Colombiano de Ballet Clasico to perform at the 5th International Ballet Festival in June 2011 in Cali. The Hong Kong Ballet took to the stage on the opening night at the bull-fighting ring, the Plaza de Toros Cañaveralejo, where an audience of 17,000 people defied the rain and gave the Company a warm and enthusiastic welcome. Renowned ballet companies from all over the world took part in this festival including Ballet Santiago de Chile, Nederlands Dans Theater and many more. |
