Profile
Hong Kong Dance Company has always emphasized the importance of arts education, and thus formed the Outreach and Education Department at its incorporation. Apart from promoting dance art in schools, the Company’s outreach and education work also includes a variety of activities such as venue partnership scheme, theme dance workshops, artist-in-residence projects as well as mass dance fiesta. The department also helps to line up students and dance organizations for stage performances and dance events such as the World Dance Day and Youth Dance Festival etc. Besides, the department offers course for different age groups: Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination Course and Evening Dance Courses, aiming to better serve the community.

Hong Kong Dance Company became the Venue Partner of Tsuen Wan Town Hall under the Venue Partnership Scheme organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. In close collaboration with the venue, we fully utilize various venue facilities to organize a diverse range of arts activities, including stage performances, training courses, workshops, talks, exhibitions and art booths. We spread the fun of dance to Tsuen Wan and other districts in the New Territories.
