Biography
Ivy had danced in many famous ballet productions including Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Aladdin and The Nutcracker. She was also awarded the Favourite Dancer Award thrice by the Friends of Hong Kong Ballet. She has danced leading roles in numerous productions of the Company including Beauty and The Beast, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Last Emperor, White Snake, Romeo & Juliet, Lady of the Camellias, Mulan, Sim Chung, Cakewalk, In the School of the Dolls and many others.
Her own productions include The Vine in 2012, The Gospel : Words, Love, Sacrifice in 2011, Wonderland in 2009 & 2010, Sichuan Earthquake in 2008, Sleeping Beauty and Four Seasons in 2007, Swan Lake in 2006, and The Nut before the Cracker in 2004. Her productions were invited to perform at the Hong Kong Original Dance Works Spectacle of 2010 Hong
Kong Dance Festival, the Hong Kong Ballet Group’s Young Ballet Stars Gala Performance, and the Hong Kong Dance Expo 2011.
Ivy participates in charity functions. Her students have taken
part in performances for charity shows such as “Dancing from our Hearts” and “Si Chuan Earthquake Donation” supported by the World’s Vision,“Dance for Light”organized by Lifeline Express, “Ginger Bread Dance” organized by Children’s
Heart Foundation, Joyful (Mental Health) Foundation, ballet performance organized by Against Child Abuse Ltd, and many more.
