Introduction Having made contributions for two decades, its passion for dance education refuses to fade. Twenty years ago, AHKDO was formed subsequent to a great success in a performance jointly staged by 12 dance groups. Today, the Association has undergone transformation from specialization with Chinese ethnic and folk dance bodies to diversification with groups international folk dance, social dance, street dance, jazz, modern, ballet, Oriental, among others. With the scales of such dance groups, the Association is now a 120-member strong dance federation, capable of organizing around 300 performances of various scales, indoor and outdoor, annually. A total head count of 200,000 audience members has been recorded every year. These have drawn energy of local professional dancers and dance organizations in developing dance enthusiasts and enriching the dance sector.
